Abstract

Ibu rumah tangga sangat berperan dalam pengelolaan keuangan rumah tangga. Literasi keuangan merupakan hal yang penting untuk pengelolaan keuangan rumah tangga dan locus of control juga diperlukan untuk mendisiplinkan dan mengontrol diri dalam pengelolaan keuangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan peran literasi keuangan dan locus of control bagi ibu rumah tangga dalam pengelolaan keuangan keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian fenomenologi transendental. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data terdiri dari noema, noesis, epoche, intentional analysis dan eidetic reduction. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu rumah tangga yang menjadi kelompok ibu-ibu dasawisma di kelurahan Cakung Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan tidak berperan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan di keluarga. Ditunjukkan dengan hasil wawancara para informan yang tidak menunjukkan sisi literasi keuangan yang baik, dimana para ibu rumah tangga dalam mengelola keuangan rumah tangga mengedepankan aspek dalam menentukan skala prioritas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga. Locus of control berperan pada pengelolaan keuangan rumah tangga. Locus of control pada ibu rumah tangga menunjukkan sisi locus of control internal. Ibu rumah tangga mampu mengendalikan dirinya dalam mengelola keuangan rumah tangga. Housewives play a very important role in managing household finances. Financial literacy is important for managing household finances and locus of control is also needed to discipline and control oneself in financial management. The purpose of this study is to reveal the role of financial literacy and locus of control for housewives in managing family finances. This study uses a qualitative method with a transcendental phenomenological research approach. Research data obtained by observation and interviews. Data analysis consists of noema, noesis, epoch, intentional analysis and eidetic reduction. Informants in this study were housewives who became a group of dasawisma mothers in the Cakung Barat sub-district. The results of the study show that financial literacy has no effect on financial management in the family. It was shown by the results of interviews with informants who did not show a good side of financial literacy, where housewives in managing household finances held back aspects in determining priority scales to meet family needs. Locus of control has effect on financial management in the family. Locus of control on housewives shows the side of internal locus of control. Housewives are able to control themselves in managing household finances.
