Abstract
ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persediaan bahan baku yang digunakan dan dibutuhkan, jumlah pemesanan bahan baku pada Box packaging, bubble wrap, lakban, plastic packaging, tinta dan label barcode yang ekonomis, serta mengetahui metode perhitungan yang sebaiknya digunakan dalam persediaan bahan baku pada PT. Bintang Dagang Internasional (Haistar). Penentuan persediaan bahan baku Box packaging, bubble wrap, lakban, plastic packaging, tinta dan label barcode dengan Metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Perbandingan metode yang dipakai perusahaan dengan dengan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) memperoleh perbedaan biaya persediaan yang cukup besar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perhitungan kebijakan yang dilakukan perusahan dalam pengadaan bahan baku dalam periode ini belum ekonomis/optimal. Dalam periode ini dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) perusahan memperoleh hasil yang ekonomis dengan pemesanan bahan baku Box packaging diperoleh dengan pembelian sebanyak 2.169,55 pcs/pesanan, untuk bahan baku bubble wrap diperoleh dengan pembelian sebanyak 150,98 roll/pesanan, berikutnya untuk bahan baku lakban diperoleh dengan pembelian sebanyak 748,68 roll/pesanan, untuk bahan baku plastic packaging diperoleh dengan pembelian sebanyak 5.063,06 roll/pesanan dan untuk bahan baku tinta diperoleh dengan pembelian sebanyak 14,50 pcs/pesanan serta untuk bahan baku label barcode diperoleh dengan pembelian sebanyak 182,42 roll/pesanan. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh selisih biaya yang dihasilkan dari perbandingan perhitungan kebijakan perusahaan dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) yaitu bahan baku Box packaging adalah sebesar Rp 845.709,7, bahan baku bubble wrap sebesar Rp7.796.977,14, bahan baku lakban sebesar Rp1.153.912,56, bahan baku plastic packaging sebesar Rp 609.347,69 , bahan baku tinta sebesar Rp 2.232.742,25 dan bahan baku label barcode sebesar Rp 4.571.569,08. Dengan total selisih biaya persediaannya Rp 17.210.258,42. Dapat disimpulkan dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) pada PT. Bintang Dagang Internasional (Haistar) dapat meminimumkan biaya persediaan dalam pengadaan persediaan bahan baku. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the inventory of raw materials used and needed, the number of orders for raw materials in box packaging, bubble wrap, duct tape, plastic packaging, ink and labels barcode that were economical, and to find out the calculation method that should be used in the inventory of raw materials at PT. Bintang Dagang Internasional (Haistar). Determination of raw material inventory for Box packaging, bubble wrap, duct tape, plastic packaging, ink and labels barcode using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Comparison of the method used by the company with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) obtained a large difference in inventory costs. Based on the results of the study, the calculation of the policies carried out by the company in the procurement of raw materials in this period was not yet economical/optimal. In this period with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, the company obtained economical results by ordering Box packaging raw materials obtained by purchasing 2,169.55 pcs/order, for bubble wrap raw materials obtained by purchasing 150.98 rolls/order, the next for raw material for duct tape obtained by purchasing 748.68 rolls/order, for plastic packaging raw materials obtained by purchasing 5,063.06 rolls/order and for raw ink obtained by purchasing 14.50 pcs/order and for label raw materials barcodes are obtained with the purchase of 182.42 rolls/order. The results of this study obtain the difference in costs resulting from the comparison of company policy calculations with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, namely the raw material for Box packaging is Rp. 845,709.7, raw material for bubble wrap is Rp. 7,796,977.14, duct tape raw material is Rp. 1. 153,912.56, plastic packaging raw materials amounting to Rp 609,347.69, ink raw materials amounting to Rp 2,232,742.25 and barcode label raw materials amounting to Rp 4,571,569.08. With a total difference in inventory costs Rp 17,210,258.42. It can be concluded by using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method at PT.
