Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemilikan institusional, kepemilikan pemerintah dan ukuran dewan komisaris terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif yang diukur dengan menggunakan metode berbaris regresi linier yang diolah dengan menggunakan program aplikasi IBM SPSS Versi 24. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2013 – 2017. Sampel ditentukan berdasarkan metode purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 13 perusahaan makanan dan minuman sehingga total observasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 18 observasi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data sekunder dengan banyak sampel (cross section). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi melalui situs resmi www.idx.co.id. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal, kepemilikan pemerintah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal dan ukuran dewan komisaris tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di BEI pada periode 2013- 2017. KataKunci : Struktur modal, corporate governance, teori keagenan, kepemilikan institusional, kepemilikan pemerintah, ukuran dewan komisaris ABSTRACT Thepurpose ofthestudy istoexamine the effect of corporate governance mechanisms on the capital structure of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The method used in this study is a quantitative method that is measured using a linear regression line method that is processed using the IBM SPSS Version 24 application program. The population of this research is companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2013 - 2017. Samples are determined based on purposive sampling method, with a total sample of 13 food and beverage companies so that the total observations in this study were 18 observations. The data used in this study are secondary data with many samples (cross section). Data collection techniques using the documentation method through the official website www.idx.co.id. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study prove that institutional ownership does not have a significant effect on capital structure, government ownership has a significant effect on the capital structure and the size of the board of commissioners does not affect the capital structure of food companies and beverages listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2017.
