Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah pengaruh profitabilitas dan good corporate governance terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur tembakau yang terdaftar di bei periode 2013-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 perusahaan manufaktur tembakau tahun 2013- 2020 sebagai sampel-nya. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi melalui situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan website masing masing perusahaan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa profitabilitas yang dilihat dari ROA berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Namun penelitian ini tidak dapat membuktikan adanya pengaruh antara komisaris independen dan dewan direksi terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata kunci :Nilai perusahaan, Profitabilitas, komisaris independen, dan dewan direksi This study aims to examine whether the effect of profitability and good corporate governance on firm value in tobacco manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2020.. This study uses quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The data used in this research is secondary data. This study uses 4 tobacco manufacturing companies in 2013-2020 as the sample. Data collection techniques using the documentation method through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the websites of each company. The results of the study prove that profitability as seen from ROA has an effect on firm value. However, this study cannot prove the influence between independent commissioners and the board of directors on firm value.
