Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis persediaan sparepart yang diterapkan PT. Handiajaya Sukatama, apakah pengendalian persediaan lebih optimal jika menggunakan metoda Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dalam meminimalkan total biaya persediaan yang dikeluarkan perusahaan. Metoda yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah program Software QM for Windows dengan metoda EOQ. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan mulai dari bulan Januari – Mei 2021. Populasi yang digunakan adalah data persediaan sparepart PT. Handijaya Sukatama. Sampel yang digunakan merupakan data persediaan sparepart Honda Automobile Oil (HAO) dan washer drain, yang dimiliki PT. Handijaya Sukatama selama satu tahun dari bulan Januari sampai bulan Desember 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelian sparepart HAO dan washer drain dengan kebijakan perusahaan mengeluarkan biaya total sebesar Rp. 8.969.431 sedangkan dengan metoda EOQ biaya yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp. 5.815.910. Jadi selisih total keduanya sebesar Rp. 2.873.801. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan kebijakan perusahaan dalam persediaan sparepart belum optimal, karena total biaya yang dikeluarkan perusahaan lebih besar dibandingkan menggunakan metoda EOQ. Kata Kunci: Economic Order Quantity, Reorder Point, Total Biaya Persediaan, Sparepart. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine and analyze the spare parts inventory applied by PT. Handijaya Sukatama, is inventory control more optimal if using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and reorder point methods in minimizing the total costs incurred by the company. The method used in this research is descriptive and the analytical tool used is the QM Software for Windows program with the method EOQ. Sources of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out starting from January - May 2021. The population used in this study was data on inventory of spare parts PT. Handijaya Sukatama. The sample used is data on inventory for spare parts Honda Automobile Oil (HAO) and washer drain, which is owned by PT. Handijaya Sukatama for one year from January to December 2020. The results showed that the purchase of spare parts HAO and washer drain with the company's policy to spend a total cost of Rp. 8,969,431 while the EOQ method costs Rp. 5,815,910. So the total difference between the two is Rp. 2,873,801. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the company's policy in inventory is not optimal, because the total costs incurred by the company are greater than using the EOQ method.
