Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas, financial leverage dan reputasi underwriter terhadap underpricing pada penawaran saham perdana. Strategi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah strategi penelitian yang bersifat asosiatif dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan data yang bersifat kuantitatif yang diambil dari laporan keuangan perusahaan IPO yang telah diaudit tahun 2015-2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 134 perusahaan dengan metode purposive sampling sebagai metode untuk pemilihan sampel. Sampel yang terpilih sebanyak 115 perusahaan dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun karena penelitian ini meneliti mengenai penawaran saham perdana, maka sampel yang dijadikan penelitian ini adalah 115 perusahaan tanpa dikalikan banyaknya tahun penelitian. Eviews versi 11 adalah alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa : 1) Profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap underpricing. 2) Financial Leverage berpengaruh terhadap underpricing. 3) Reputasi Underwriter berpengaruh terhadap Underpricing. This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, financial leverage and underwriter's reputation on underpricing in the initial public offering. The research strategy used in this research is an associative research strategy with the research method used is the documentation method. In this study, researchers used quantitative data taken from audited IPO company financial reports for 2015-2019. The population in this study were 134 companies with purposive sampling method as a method for sample selection. The selected sample is 115 companies in a period of 5 years because this study examines the initial public offering, so the sample used in this study is 115 companies without being multiplied by the number of years of research. Eviews version 11 is an analytical tool used in this study The results of the research prove that: 1) Profitability has an effect on underpricing. 2) Financial Leverage has an effect on underpricing. 3) Underwriter's reputation affects underpricing
