Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of financial performance on stock returns with company size as moderating (Case Study of Consumer Goods Industrial Companies Listed on the IDX for the period 2017-2021 The strategy and research method used is associative and ex post facto with the analytical tool used is Eviews 10. The population in this study is all consumer goods industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, totaling 53 companies. In this study, researchers only took 29 consumer goods industrial companies. Based on the analysis and discussion shows that there is an effect of profitability on stock returns; There is an effect of solvency on stock returns; There is an effect of liquidity on stock returns; There is no effect of activity on stock returns in consumer goods industrial companies listed on the IDX and company size in general does not moderate the effect of financial performance on returns in consumer goods industrial companies listed on the IDX because only profitability variables can be moderated, while solvency, liquidity and activities cannot be moderated. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kinerja keuangan terhadap return saham dengan ukuran perusahaan sebagai pemoderasi (Studi Kasus Perusahaan Industri Barang Konsumsi yang Terdaftar di BEI periode 2017-2021 Strategi dan metoda penelitian yang digunakan adalah asosiatif dan ex post facto dengan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Eviews 10. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang berjumlah 53 perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti hanya mengambil 29 perusahaan industri barang konsumsi. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap return saham ; Terdapat pengaruh solvabilitas terhadap return saham ; Terdapat pengaruh likuiditas terhadap return saham ; Tidak terdapat pengaruh aktivitas terhadap return saham pada perusahaan industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI dan Ukuran perusahaan secara umum tidak memoderasi pengaruh kinerja keuangan terhadap return saham pada perusahaan industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI dikarenakan hanya variabel profitabilitas yang dapat di moderasi, sedangkan solvabilitas, likuiditas dan aktivitas tidak dapat dimoderasi.
