Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Inflasi dan Suku Bunga terhadap Profitabilitas (ROA) Bank Umum Syariah di Bank Indonesia tahun 2012-2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi kausal dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, yang diukur dengan menggunakan metode analisisi regresi linear data panel program software Econometric Views (Eviews) versi 9. Sampel ditentukan berdasarkan metode purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 11 bank umum syariah, sehingga total observasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 55 observasi. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Statistik Perbankan Syariah yang diterbitkan oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) melalui situs resmi www.ojk.co.id dan website Bank Indonesia (BI). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel, (1) Inflasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas (ROA), (2) Suku Bunga tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) , (3) inflasi dan suku bunga secara simultan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap profitabilitas (ROA). Kata Kunci : Inflasi, Suku Bunga, Profitabilitas// ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effect of Inflation and Interest Rates on the Profitability (ROA) of Islamic Commercial Banks at Bank Indonesia in 2012- 2016. This study uses a causal strategy with a quantitative approach, which is measured using linear regression analysis method data panel Econometric Views (Eviews) software version 9. The sample is determined based on purposive sampling method, with a total sample of 11 Islamic banks, so the total observations in the study this is 55 observations. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from Islamic Banking Statistics published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) through the official website www.ojk.co.id and the website of Bank Indonesia (BI). The results of this study indicate that variables, (1) Inflation has a negative and significant effect on profitability (ROA), (2) Interest rates have no effect on profitability (ROA), (3) inflation and interest rates simultaneously have a significant influence on profitability (ROA).
