Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana bisnis di Indonesia merespon dan beradaptasi dalam krisis Covid-19. Penelitian ini berfokus pada berita yang dilaporkan yang tersedia untuk umum dan dapat di akses yaitu berita media online. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kearsipan. Kasus empiris menggambarkan bagaimana perusahaan di Indonesia beradaptasi dan mengubah strategi mereka selama pandemi. Penelitian ini mengusulkan tipologi strategi respon bisnis berdasarkan dua dimensi (tingkat inovasi dan tingkat dampak perubahan pada model bisnis). Hasilnya, terdapat 200 perusahaan yang merespon dan empat strategi telah di identifikasi yaitu strategi bertahan hidup, strategi sinkronisasi, strategi perenggangan, dan pergeseran dalam menanggapi krisis. Strategi-strategi ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya fleksibilitas dan inovasi untuk menavigasi dan bertahan selama masa-masa sulit. Kata kunci : Covid-19, Indonesia, strategi bertahan hidup, strategi sinkronisasi, strategi perenggangan, strategi pergeseran. This study aims to identify how businesses in Indonesia respond and adapt to the Covid-19 crisis. This research focuses on reported news that is publicly available and accessible, namely online media news. This research uses a qualitative approach with an archival study approach. Empirical cases illustrate how companies in Indonesia have adapted and changed their strategies during the pandemic. This study proposes a typology of business response strategies based on two dimensions (level of innovation and level of impact of changes in business models). As a result, there are 200 companies that respond and four strategies have been identified, namely survival strategy, synchronization strategy, stretching strategy, and shift in response to crisis. These strategies provide insight into the importance of flexibility and innovation to navigate and survive during difficult times.
