Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan prinsip-prinsip Good Corporate Governance (GCG) pada perusahaan Unilever Indonesia. Transparansi, Akuntabilitas, Kemandirian, Independensi, serta Pertanggungjawaban merupakan prinsip-prinsip GCG yang harus dimiliki perusahaan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, yang menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan sampel perusahaan menggunakan sampel 1 perusahaan saja. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Tehnik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuosioner mengenai penerapan prinsip-prinsip GCG pada perusahaan Unilever Indonesia Hasil penelitian membuktikan pada penerapan prinsip-prinsip GCG pada perusahaan Unilever Indonesia bahhwa (1) Penerapan prinsip Transparancy pada perusahaan Unilever Indonesia sudah diterapkan dengan baik, karena pada perusahaan yang bersangkutan, adanya penyampaian visi dan misi perusahaan, tersedia atau mudahnya sarana akses informasi, baik informasi dari atasan ke bawahan, begitu juga informasi kepada organisasi lain, pengambilan keputusan yang musyawarah atau transaparan, serta penerapan SOP yang berlaku, (2) Penerapan Independency pada perusahaan Unilever Indonesia Tbk telah diterapkan dengan baik karena pada proses kegiatan perusahaan tidak adanya ditemukan benturan kepentingan, (3) Pada subjek penelitian ini, perseroan bertanggung jawab atas segala keputusan dan tindakan yang diambil dan memastikan pengelolaannya berjalan dengan baik, adil dan terukur sesuai dengan kepentingan para pemangku kepentingan, (4) Penerapan Responsibility telah dijalankan oleh perusahaan dengan baik. (5) Penerapan prinsip Fairness di perusahaan Unilever Indonesia TBK sudah diterapkan dengan baik, karena adanya perlakuan yang setara dan adil, adanya perlakuan yang setara dan adil dalam memenuhi hak pemangku kepentingan, serta adanya kesempatan yang sama untuk setiap karyawan untuk promosi jabatan Kata kunci : Transparansi, Akuntabilitas, Kemandirian, Independensi serta Pertanggungjawaban dan Kinerja Perusahaan. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the application of the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in Unilever Indonesia companies. Transparancy, Accountability, Independence, Responsibilty, and Fairness are the principles of GCG that a company must have. This research uses qualitative research, which uses purposive sampling method with a sample of companies using a sample of only one campany. The data used in this research is secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire regarding thhe application of GCG principles in Unilever Indonesia companies. The results of the research prove that the application og GCG principles in Unilever Indonesia companies is that (1) The implementation of the principles of transparency in Unilever Indonesia companies has been implemented properly, because in the company concerned, there is a delivery of the company’s vision and mission, available or easy means of accesss to information, either information from superiors to subordinates, as well as information to other organizations, deliberative or transparent decision making, as well as the application of applicable SOP, (2) Implementation of Independency in Unilever Indonesia TBK companies has been implemented properly because in the campany’s process of activities there were no conflicts of interest found, (3) In the subject of this research, the company is responsible for all decisions and actions taken and ensures that its management runs well, fairly and is measured in accordance with the interest of the stakeholders, (4) Responsibility has been implemented by the company well, (5) The application of the Fairness principle in the Unilever Indonesia TBK company has been wll implemented, due to equal and fair treatment, equal and fair treatment in fulfilling the rights of stakeholders, as well as equal opportunities for every employee for promotion.
