Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh return on asset, debt to equity ratio, earning per share dan firm size secara parsial dan simultan terhadap market value added pada perusahaan industri barang konsumsi di BEI Tahun 2012-2016. Strategi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah strategi penelitian asosiatif. Metoda penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metoda kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang dijadikan populasi adalah seluruh perusahaan industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan menggunakan data laporan keuangan. Sampel yang diambil oleh peneliti adalah Dalam penelitian ini peneliti hanya mengambil 23, sedangkan data yang digunakan adalah data laporan keuangan berupa neraca dan laporan laba rugi pada periode tahun 2012-2016. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan menunjukkan Terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan return on asset terhadap market value added ; Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan debt to equity ratio terhadap market value added ; Terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan earning per share terhadap market value added ; Terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan firm size terhadap market value added ; Secara serentak (simultan) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan return on asset, debt to equity ratio, earning per share dan firm size terhadap market value added. Kata kunci : Return On Asset, Debt To Equity Ratio, Earning Per Share, Firm Size, Market Value Added This study aims to determine the effect of return on assets, debt to equity ratio, earning per share and firm size partially and simultaneously to market value added in consumer goods industry companies in BEI periode 2012-2016. The research strategy used in this research is associative research strategy. The research method used in this research is quantitative method. In this study the population is the entire consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using financial statement data. The sample taken by the researcher is In this study the researchers only take 23, while the data used is the financial report data in the form of balance sheet and income statement in the period of 2011-2016. Based on the analysis and discussion shows There is a positive effect of significant return on assets to market value added; There is no significant effect of debt to equity ratio on market value added; There is a negative effect of significant earning per share on market value added; There is a significant positive firm size influence on market value added; Simultaneously there is a significant effect on return on asset, debt to equity ratio, earning per share and firm size to market value added.
