Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) in the effectiveness of ships operating in Indonesia and to find out what are the factors that support PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) in the effectiveness of ships operating in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The researcher collected the research data through primary data and secondary data methods. Primary data is data based on the results of documentation studies, observations and interviews of researchers. Secondary data is data based on the results of journal references in accordance with the title of the researcher, notes, and inventory reports from the company. The results of this study indicate that the role of PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) as a State-Owned Enterprise Classification Company. The role of PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) As a Classification Company for State-Owned Enterprises, it is very significant especially in the aspect of shipping in Indonesia. The factors that influence BKI's ability to carry out its role can be seen from the vision and mission of BKI. In addition to the vision and mission, other influencing factors are the culture, goals and values applied by the company. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui peran PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Peresero) dalam efektifitas kapal yang beroperasi di Indonesia dan untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor yang mendukung PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Peresero) dalam efektifitas kapal yang beroperasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Peneliti mengumpulkan data penelitian ini melalui metode data primer dan data sekunder. Data Primer ialah data berdasarkan hasil studi dokumentasi, observasi maupun wawancara peneliti. Data Sekunder ialah data berdasarkan hasil dari referensi jurnal sesuai dengan judul peneliti, catatan, dan laporan inventory dari perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Peran PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) Sebagai Perusahaan Klasifikasi Badan Usaha Milik Negara. Peran PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) Sebagai Perusahaan Klasifikasi Badan Usaha Milik Negara sangat signifikan utamanya dalam askep perkapalan di Indonesia. Faktor yang mempengaruhi BKI mampu menjalankan perannya dapat dilihat dari visi dan misi BKI. Selain visi misi, faktor lain yang mempengaruhi adalah budaya, tujuan dan nilai yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan.
