Abstract
Pada dunia perdagangan baik skala internasional ataupun nasional, perusahaan - perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang logistik mempunyai kedudukan yang sangat penting, salah satunya merupakan untuk melindungi ketersediaan barang dalam memenuhi kebutuhan yang perlu dipenuhi. “Logistics is the strategically managing the procurement, movement, and storage of materials, part and finished inventory (and the related information flows) through the organization and its marketing channels in such a way that current and future profitability are maximized through the cost-effective fulfilment of orders” (Komara, 2014:9). Artinya ialah logistik merupakan strategi pengolahan, pengadaan, pergerakan, serta penyimpanan material, barang separuh jadi serta produk jadi dan arus data yang terkait, lewat organisasi serta saluran pemasarannya, sampai bisa mengoptimalkan profitabilitas pada di saat ini serta di masa yang akan datang dengan pengeluaran yang efisien.
