Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas, free cash flow, growth sales dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap dividend payout ratio pada perusahaan Consumer Good Industry yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2019. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian asosisatif kausal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 52 perusahaan consumer good industry yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2019, sedangkan sampel sebanyak 34 perusahaan yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sejumlah 238 data observasi. Jenis dan sumber data penelitian adalah data sekunder. Metoda pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder dengan teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data panel dengan Eviews 10.0. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa profitabilitas, free cash flow dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap dividend payout ratio, sedangkan growth sales berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap dividend payout ratio pada pada perusahaan Consumer Good Industry yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2019 This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, free cash flow, growth sales and company size on the dividend payout ratio of the Consumer Good Industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2019. This research is included in the category of causal associative research. The research method used is the correlational method. The population in this study were 52 consumer good industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2019, while a sample of 34 companies was determined by purposive sampling technique so that 238 observational data were obtained. Types and sources of research data are secondary data. The data collection method uses secondary data with documentation techniques. Data analysis uses panel data analysis with Eviews 10.0. The results of the study concluded that profitability, free cash flow and company size had a positive and significant effect on the dividend payout ratio, while growth sales had a negative and significant effect on the dividend payout ratio in the Consumer Good Industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2019.
