Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh financial leverage dan profitabilitas secara parsial dan bersama-sama terhadap earning per share pada perusahaan industri dasar dan kimia yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2013-2016.. Strategi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah strategi penelitian asosiatif. Metoda penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metoda kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua perusahaan sektor manfaktur sektor industri dasar dan kimia terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor Industri Dasar dan Kimia terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2013 sampai dengan periode tahun 2016 Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan menunjukkan Financial leverage berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap earning per share pada perusahaan industri dasar dan kimia yang terdaftar di BEI periode tahun 2013-2016, dengan nilai signifikansi t-statistic sebesar 0.0285 < 0,05 ; Profitabilitas berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap earning per share pada perusahaan industri dasar dan kimia yang terdaftar di BEI periode tahun 2013-2016, dengan nilai signifikansi t-statistic sebesar 0.0000 < 0,05 Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis secara simultan diperoleh nilai signifikansi F sebesar 0.000002 < 0,05 dimana tingkat financial leverage dan profitabilitas secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap earning per share pada perusahaan industri dasar dan kimia yang terdaftar di BEI periode tahun 2013-2016 artinya hipotesis terbukti berpengaruh. Kata kunci : Financial Leverage, Profitabilitas, Earning Per Share The research strategy used in this research is associative research strategy. The This study aims to determine the effect of financial leverage and profitability partially and together to earnings per share in basic and chemical industry companies listed on the IDX period 2013-2016 The research strategy used in this research is associative research strategy. The research method used in this research is quantitative method. The population of this research is all companies of manufacturing sector of basic industry and chemical sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The sample in this research is company of Basic and Chemical Industry sector registered at Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013 until 2016 period Based on the analysis and discussion shows that financial leverage has significant and significant effect to earning per share on basic industry and chemical companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013-2016 period, with t-statistic significance value of 0.0285 <0.05; Profitability influence and significant to earnings per share on basic industrial and chemical company which is listed in BEI period year 2013-2016, with t-statistic significance value equal to 0.0000 <0,05 Based on result of hypothesis testing simultaneously obtained value significance F equal to 0.000002 <0 , 05 where the level of financial leverage and profitability simultaneously affect the earnings per share on basic industrial and chemical companies listed on the BEI period 2013-2016 means the hypothesis proved to have an effect.
