Abstract
Abstrak – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari Likuiditas, Sales Growth, dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Profitabilitas pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor Industri Dasar dan Kimia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2019 – 2021. Profitabilitas sebagai variabel dependen, sedangkan Likuiditas, Sales Growth, dan Ukuran Perusahaan sebagai variabel independen. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian asosiatif kausal dengan teknik kuantitatif, yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi data panel dengan menggunakan aplikasi Eviews 12. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sektor Industri Dasar dan Kimia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2019 – 2021 sebanyak 79 perusahaan. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 21 perusahaan sehingga terdapat 63 total observasi. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil koefisin determinasi dijelaskan bahwa Likuiditas, Sales Growth, dan Ukuran Perusahaan memiliki pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) sebesar 42,9% dan sisanya sebesar 57,1 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor yang lain diluar variabel yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Likuiditas berpengaruh negatif terhadap ROA, Sales Growth berpengaruh positif terhadap ROA , sedangkan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor Industri Dasar dan Kimia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2019 – 2021. Abstract – This study aims to determine the effect of Liquidity, Sales Growth, and Company Size on Profitability in manufacturing companies in the Basic and Chemical Industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019 – 2021 period. Profitability as dependent variables, while Liquidity, Sales Growth, and Company Size as independent variables. This research is a type of causal associative research with quantitative techniques, which was analyzed using panel data regression using the Eviews 12 application. The population of this study is manufacturing companies in the Basic and Chemical Industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period as many as 79 companies. The selection of samples in this study used purposive sampling with a total sample of 21 companies so that there were 63 total observations.The data used is secondary data. Based on the results of the coefisin determination, it is explained that Liquidity, Sales Growth, and Company Size have an influence on profitability (ROA) of 42.9% and the remaining 57.1% is influenced by other factors beyond the variables that have been carried out by researchers. The results of this study show that Liquidity has a negative effect on ROA, Sales Growth has a positive effect on ROA, while company size does not affect ROA in manufacturing companies in the Basic and Chemical Industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period.
