Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of leadership and work environment on job satisfaction mediated by communication at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk UI Depok Branch Office. In this study used a strategy called associative strategy. The data collection method was carried out using a questionnaire which was measured using a Likert scale. The population in this study are employees of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk UI Depok Branch Office. The sampling method uses a saturated sample technique in which the entire population is sampled. In the study there were 80 respondents. This study uses a data analysis technique that is used, namely path analysis with the help of WarpPLS 8.0 software. The results of the study concluded (1) Leadership has a direct effect on communication. (2) Leadership influences job satisfaction. (3) The work environment has a direct effect on communication. (4) The work environment influences job satisfaction. (5) Communication affects job satisfaction. (6) Communication does not mediate the influence of leadership on job satisfaction. (7) Communication mediates the influence of the work environment on job satisfaction Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu pengaruh dari kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja yang dimediasi oleh komunikasi pada PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Kantor Cabang UI Depok. Pada penelitian ini digunakan strategi yang disebut strategi asosiatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diukur menggunakan skala likert. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Kantor Cabang UI Depok. Metode pengambilan sempel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh yang seluruh jumlah populasi dijadikan sempel. Dalam penelitian terdapat 80 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis jalur dengan bantuan software WarpPLS 8.0. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan (1) Kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung terhadap komunikasi. (2) Kepemimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. (3) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap komunikasi. (4) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. (5) Komunikasi berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. (6) Komunikasi tidak memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja. (7) Komunikasi memediasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja
