Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan mengetahui apakah pendapatan operasional selain bunga (Fee Based Income) dapat memberikan dampak terhadap profitabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi deskriptif dan jenis penelitiannya yaitu penelitian kualitatif, sebab penelitian yang dilakukan ini untuk menjelaskan fenomena atau masalah yang diangkat. data yang diperoleh dan dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi langsung, dan pengambilan data dan studi pustaka. dari semua data tersebut saling menunjang dan melengkapi sehingga diperoleh data yang lengkap dan akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan fee based income berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas PT. Bank BRI kantor cabang Jakarta Cempaka Mas. dimana besarnya fee based income berbanding lurus dengan profitabilitas dan meningkat tiap tahunnya. pada bank BRI terdapat hubungan yang kuat dam memilki hubungan positif antara fee based income terhadap profitabilitas. Transaksi yang menghasilkan fee based income di bank BRI yaitu simpanan dari nasabah, pengiriman uang, inkaso, transaksi internasional, kliring dan yang lainnya. Kata kunci: fee based income dan profitabilitas Abstract This study aim to test whether operating income other than interest (fee based income) can have an impact on profitability. This research use a descriptive strategy and the type of research in qualitative research, because this research is conducted to explain the problem raised. Data obtained and collected through techniques, interviews, direct observation, and data collection and literature study. Of all the data support and complement each other in order to obtain complete and accurate data. The results showed that fee based income han an effect on the profitability of the Jakarta Cempaka Mas Brand office. Where the amount of fee based income is directly proportional to profitability and increase every year. In the BRI Banks there is a strong and positive relationship between fee based income and profitability. Transactions the generate fee based income at BRI Banks, namely deposits, from customers, remittances, collections, international transactions, clearing and others. Keywords: fee based income and profitability
