Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguju apakah faktor nilai intrinsik pekerjaan, penghargaan finansial/gaji, profesi kerja berpengaruh terhadap minat mahasiswa akuntansi dalam memilih profesi sebagai akuntan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, yang diukur dengan menggunakan metode berbasis linier berganda dengan SPSS 21. Sampel dari penelitian ini ditentukan berdasarkan metode quota sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden. Adapun yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa akuntansi Universitas Indraprasta PGRI. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner tertutup. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa (1) Nilai intrinsik pekerjaan, (2) penghargaan finansial/gaji dan (3) profesi kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap minat mahasiswa akuntansi dalam memilih profesi sebagai akuntan. Kata Kunci: Nilai Intrinsik Pekerjaan, Penghargaan Finansial, Profesi Kerja dan Minat ABSTRACT This study aims to address whether the intrinsic value factor of work, financial reward / salary, occupational profession affect the interests of accounting students in choosing a profession as an accountant. This study uses the type of associative research with quantitative approach, measured using multiple linear based method with SPSS 21. The sample of this study was determined based on quota sampling method, with the number of samples of 50 respondents. The respondents in this study are accounting students of University Indraprasta PGRI. The data used in this study are primary data. Data collection techniques using closed questionnaire method. Hypothesis testing using t test. The results of the study prove that (1) the intrinsic value of the job, (2) the financial reward / salary and (3) the occupational profession negatively affect the interest of accounting students in choosing the profession as accountant.
