Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana prosedur penerimaan mahasiswa baru Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia serta apakah pelaksanaan penerimaan mahasiswa baru Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia sudah efektif pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dan tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode deskriptif kualitatif merupakan metode pengumpulan data dengan data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui proses observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Prosedur Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru yang diterapkan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia sudah sesuai dengan teori prosedur penerimaan yang baik, ditambah lagi dengan adanya flowchart yang menggambarkan prosedur penerimaan mahasiswa baru Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia. Prosedur penerimaan mahasiswa baru Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia dapat dikatakan sangat efektif dilihat dari hasil wawancara dan observasi karena prosedur penerimaan mahasiswa baru dilakukan sesuai dengan Pedoman Prosedur Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru yang berlaku. Dari data perencanaan dapat dilihat perhitungan rasio efektivitas yang menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas tercapai 93,31 % (Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018) dan 91,62 % (Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019) yang tercapai dari yang direncanakan sehingga dapat digolongkan sangat efektif. Kata Kunci : Efektivitas, Prosedur Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru ABSTRACT This study is aimed to determine how the procedures for admission of new students of the Indonesian Economics College and whether the implementation of new student admissions of the Indonesian Economics College has been effective in the 2017/2018 academic year and the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods. Qualitative descriptive method is a method of collecting data with primary data collected through the process of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the New Student Admission Procedure applied by the Indonesian Institute of Economics is in accordance with the theory of good admissions procedures, coupled with the flowchart which describes the procedure for admitting new students of the Indonesian Economics College. The procedure for admission of new students of the Indonesian Economics College can be said to be very effective seen from the results of interviews and observations because the new student admission procedure is carried out in accordance with the applicable New Student Admission Procedure Guidelines. From the planning data can be seen the calculation of the effectiveness ratio which shows the level of effectiveness reached 93.31 % (2017/2018 Academic Year) and 91.62% (2018/2019 Academic Year) which is achieved from the planned so that it can be classified as very effective.
