Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perputaran modal kerja (working capital turnover), ukuran perusahaan (total assets), dan likuiditas (current ratio) terhadap profitabilitas secara parsial dan simultan terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan consumer goods industry yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dari tahun 2015 sampai dengan 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan consumer goods industry yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), setelah dilakukan sampling dengan metode purposive sampling maka didapatlah 37 perusahaan consumer goods industry, sehingga total observasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 185 observasi. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi Eviews10. Berdasarkan hasil uji t dijelaskan bahwa perputaran modal kerja dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas sedangkan likuiditas berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signfikan terhadap profitabilitas. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel perputaran modal kerja, ukuran perusahaan dan likuiditas secara bersama-sama berpengaruh profitabilitas. Koefisien determinasi (Adjusted R-square) menunjukan bahwa perputaran modal kerja, ukuran perusahaan dan likuiditas memiliki pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas sebesar 95,57% dan sisanya yaitu 4,43% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini. This study aims to determine the effect of working capital turnover (WCT), firm size (total assets) and liquidity (current ratio) on profitability partially and simultaneously in consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. (IDX) from 2015 to 2019. The research method used is a quantitative method using secondary data. The population of this research are all consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), after sampling with purposive sampling method, 37 companies of consumer goods industry were obtained, so the total observations in this study were 185 observations. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis using the Eviews10 application. Based on the results of the t test, it is explained that working capital turnover and firm size have a positive and significant effect on profitability, while liquidity has a positive but not significant effect on profitability. The results of the F test show that the variables of working capital turnover, firm size and liquidity together have an effect on profitability. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R-square) show that working capital turnover, firm size, and liquidity have an influence on profitability of 95.57% and the remaining 4.43% is explained by other factors that are not included in this study.
