Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of work stress and compensation on job satisfaction mediated by the work motivation of Gojek drivers in DKI Jakarta. This research is an associative strategy using a quantitative approach. The data collection method used a questionnaire which was measured using a Likert scale. The population in this study were Gojek drivers, while the sample in this study were Gojek drivers in DKI Jakarta using a purposive sampling technique of 100 respondents. In this study, the data analysis technique used is path analysis with the help of WarpPLS 8.0 software. The results of this study indicate that (1) Job stress has a negative effect on the work motivation of Gojek drivers. (2) Job stress has a negative effect on job satisfaction of Gojek drivers. (3) Compensation has a positive effect on the work motivation of Gojek drivers. (4) Compensation has a positive effect on job satisfaction of Gojek drivers. (5) Motivation has a positive effect on job satisfaction of Gojek drivers. (6) Work motivation does not mediate the effect of work stress on job satisfaction of Gojek drivers. (7) Work motivation as compensation mediation on job satisfaction of Gojek drivers. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja dan kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja yang dimediasi oleh motivasi kerja pengemudi Gojek di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi asosiatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diukur menggunakan skala likert. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengemudi Gojek, sedangkan sampel pada penelitian adalah pengemudi Gojek yang berada di DKI Jakarta dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 100 responden. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis jalur dengan bantuan software WarpPLS 8.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Stres kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap motivasi kerja pengemudi Gojek. (2) Stres kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap kepuasan kerja pengemudi Gojek. (3) Kompensasi berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja pengemudi Gojek. (4) Kompensasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja pengemudi Gojek. (5) Motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja pengemudi Gojek. (6) Motivasi kerja bukan sebagai pemediasi pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pengemudi Gojek. (7) Motivasi kerja sebagai pemediasi kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pengemudi Gojek.
